When Selling Feels “Icky…”

🧜🏾‍♀️Hey Sis,

So you have your idea for your product or service. You did all the research on Color Psychology, so you know your logo and your website are “just right” to convey your message and your mission. You purchased the highest quality packaging or paid for the best platform to be able to host your courses or whatever it is you’ve done to make sure that you are providing the highest quality products and services. Everything is done and ready to go and now,

You have to make an offering.

You actually have to

Sell something!

The moment it hits you that you actually have to SELL this thing you’ve created you immediately begin to feel all scared and nervous and anxious and…

Because, you don’t want to be just another “saleswoman.”

You don’t want to come off “sales-y”

“OMG! What’s everyone gonna say when I start promoting my products on social media?”

“They’re gonna say that I’m being sell-y and that I’m promoting my products too much and…. and…. and… and…..”

And before you know it, you’ve creating this whole, catastrophized scenario story that ends with you being lonely, homeless, and living under a bridge, with no friends, having lost all of your life savings and so on and so on and so on….

Sound familiar?

Yeah…. for many of us, this most certainly does.

Let’s stop….

Breathe some more…

And now let’s play a little game, shall we?

Ready? Okay. Here we go…

I want you to think of a time when you purchased a product or a service that had such an AMAZING impact on your life.

Take the time and do that now.

Got it in your mind?

Yes? Okay.

Now, I want you to think about the person who created that product or service that you purchased. Hold both the product or service AND the person who created it in your mind together.

Got it?

Now, I want you to think about where your life would be, right now, if that person had NOT created that product or service AND had not given you the opportunity to purchase it.

What would your life be like?

Aren’t you thankful for that person? Aren’t you thankful that he or she not only had the courage to create that product or service, but ALSO had to courage to OFFER that product to you, for sale?

🧜🏾‍♀️Okay, Sis.

If you feel that way about someone else, how many people do you think are waiting for YOU to have the courage to create a product or service

For YOU to have the courage to OFFER that product or service to them to BUY?

I want you to think about this, the next time you ever feel afraid to sell your stuff.

🧜🏾‍♀️Create your stuff, Sis.

People are waiting on you.

🧜🏾‍♀️I Love You, Sis😘
